A multivitamin is not meant to replace food. It covers the gaps that most ordinary diets leave, which for most adults means B vitamins, folate, iron, zinc and selenium. Our Daily Multivitamin is formulated for men and women. One formula rather than two, which took some deciding.
This is where most brands split into a men's version and a women's version, and iron is usually the reason. Formulas built for women often carry close to 18 mg, the full recommended intake for premenopausal women, which is more than men need. Formulas built for men often leave iron out entirely, which can leave women short.
We use Ferrous Bisglycinate Iron at 9 mg, a chelated form chosen for absorption and for being gentler on digestion than some other iron forms. That covers the 8 mg recommended intake for men with room to spare, and gives women a meaningful contribution on top of what they get from food, without the higher load that makes some formulas hard to tolerate. If you have been advised to take a specific iron dose, or are managing a diagnosed deficiency, follow your doctor's guidance rather than a general purpose multivitamin.
Nutrients are only useful if your body absorbs them. A formula can list generous amounts on the panel and still leave you short if absorption is poor.
That is why probiotics and prebiotics are included in the blend rather than sold separately. The intent is the same as in our fertility formula: support the digestive environment the rest of the nutrients have to pass through.
What Is in the Daily Multivitamin
The formula combines a core vitamin and mineral base with whole food and gut support blends.

Gut and Immune Support. Probiotics, Prebiotics, Vitamin C, Zinc and Selenium.
